Cambridge stores opens its doors in Burgersfort

BURGERSFORT – An exciting new shopping destination has been added to Burgersfort, with Cambridge Food opening its first retail store in the area on  March 25.

With great consideration and care taken to ensure the safety and well-being of customers, shoppers enjoyed a wide range of opening specials with some taking home an avalanche of prize giveaways .

The giant retailer is part of the Massmart group and has over 40 stores nationwide.

Cambridge stores responded to the call for an alternative from communities of Burgersfort and its surroundings.

“ Shoppers have been asking us for many years to open a store in their community – and we have listened”, said Chris Lourens Managing Director of Cambridge Foods.

Lourens said they will strive to bring best quality to their customers.

The store offers a wide range of fresh products (a Grade A butchery, a meal solution-focused take-away, a home-style scratch bakery, which bakes fresh hot bread throughout the day, a wide fresh fruit and veg offering, and many more.

Another exciting thing is that this retail giant has brought employment as many locals are employed at the store.
