Penryn Prep grade two learners follow the spoor to adventure

Last week Thursday the Penryn Prep grade two explorers had the opportunity to navigate their way through the entire Penryn campus, with only a map to guide them.

The morning was arranged by Diana da Silva, an intern, to bring the various lessons about herbivores and nature to life.

Thakgatso Lebea
Sammy de Araujo provided the grade two pupils with their maps of the campus.

They visited many spots on campus, namely the Reptile Rainforest, the Wildlife Watering Hole, the Herbivore Hideout and the Big 5 Bushveld Lookout.

At each location the students had to find and solve clues. The teams, the Paw team and the Snake team, were given their own tickets for the walk and a checklist with all the toy animals they had to find at each location.

It was ensured that Covid-19 regulations were followed throughout the morning by all involved.
