Pumas ready for a tussle with the Sharks

After the Airlink Pumas returned to winning ways on May 6 with a victory over the NovaVit Griffons, they are ready to face the Cell C Sharks at Mbombela Stadium tonight.

The Airlink Pumas and Cell C Sharks have named their squads for their upcoming clash at Mbombela Stadium on Friday May 12.

These two teams faced off at Hollywoodbets King’s Park in the first half of the Carling Currie Cup and needless to say, the match didn’t go quite as the Pumas head coach, Jimmy Stonehouse, had anticipated.

The defending champs were drowned in the ‘shark tank’ with the Sharks coming out on top with only three goals to the good. The final score that time around read 19-12 to the home team.

The Pumas will hope to use their home-ground advantage to turn the tables on Friday.

Kick-off is at 17:05.

Make sure to buy your tickets at the stadium or online at Computicket.
