Early Childhood Development (ECD) School, Lesedi-Sedi Edu-Care Centre has acquired new buildings in Moroke.
The buildings were officially opened to the toddlers last Monday.
Over 100 guests that included parents, educators and learners, celebrated the ribbon-cutting ceremony. Several extramural activities like drama, plays and singing were rendered during the opening of the school.
The newly opened ECD Centre is based less than a 1km from where the sister school, Lesedi-Sedi Independent Primary School, is situated.
The buildings boast several state-of-the-art classrooms, a kitchen, sick bays, ablution facilities, a reception office, a school hall and many more top-notch facilities.

There is also a fully equipped outdoor play area for the children that assists with the development of gross motor skills.
“This project has been made possible, thanks to the collaborative efforts by the management of Lesedi-Sedi, the local communities, and support from the Limpopo education department.
“Lesedi-Sedi was founded in 1998 to provide a solid foundation to young children in ensuring a healthy and optimum development through quality education and caring in a safe and peaceful environment,” said Pel Moloto, the founder and CEO of the centre.
“It’s a good feeling that we managed to acquire best facilities and buildings suitable for the young ones. We are passionate about grooming our children from a very young age,” he said.
Lesedi-Sedi Edu-Care Centre caters for children from four months old. Moloto indicated that they are planning to have an official grand opening event of the centre in the next months.
