Wonders of the universe explained at Mbombela school
These children and parents had the opportunity to visit the planetarium at Treeside Private Academy recently.

September 1 and 2 saw the mobile planetarium hosted at Treeside Private Academy.
The dome created a visual spectacle, taking everyone on a magical journey through space and beyond.
It was also used as opportunity to introduce parents to the school.

Terri Sass, the principal, said, “Space is just one of the numerous fun themes covered in schools every year. This was a wonderful educational opportunity to open children’s eyes to our solar system and give them a real understanding of the vastness of our universe.”

Once exiting the dome, parents and children were greeted with a few stalls outside, one of which was chef Cindy Coetzee’s pancake stall.
Coetzee is currently busy with a challenge to bake 15 000 pancakes by September 23, all in order to raise awareness for autism.
