The gees was electric on the Mbombela Golf Club course.

The annual Afgri Golf Day, hosted by Afgri Retail, Afgri Insurance Brokers, and Afgri Equipment, was once again a roaring success. On Thursday, August 7, a full field of golfers took to the course at Mbombela Golf Club.

The club and surrounds were a hive of activity from early in the morning, with the players collecting their awesome goodie bags. The first four-balls teed off at 10:16.

Agricultural-related equipment was on display outside the clubhouse and at the various tee boxes.

“The event aimed to show our appreciation for the clients who support us. It was all made possible by contributions from our generous suppliers, who manned 16 tee boxes on the day, reflecting their fantastic support,” said Charles Gates, manager of Afgri Retail Nelspruit.

“Some 120 prizes were up for grabs, so no competitor walked away empty-handed. People from various agricultural industries came together to make this another successful Afgri Golf Day.”

Deep-rooted bonds were strengthened during the day, as Agfri and their suppliers and friends shared a special camaraderie on the course.
