Welcome to the all-new Courtyard Café

The Courtyard Café is under new ownership and the owners are very excited to announce their latest upgrades to the public!

Meet Liz and Nic Wilson, previous owners of the successful Linga Longa guesthouse, current owners of The Courtyard Café.

For approximately four or five years Liz has contemplated owning a coffee shop of her own.

Her sister, Susan, was the source of her inspiration because she always told her how amazing her food tasted and if she ever had to open a restaurant or a coffee shop, she would do extremely well.

Opportunity knocked at their door when they spoke to Louis van der Merwe, the owner of Casterbridge Lifestyle Centre, who advised them that The Courtyard Cafe might be up for sale. An offer was made, which was accepted.

In July of this year they closed the coffee shop, during which time they did a total revamp where they had all the furniture and fittings refurbished, tiled the kitchen and upgraded the interior.

On the 2nd of August 2017 they were ready to open for business.

Both Nic and Liz agreed that the Courtyard Cafe should serve good coffee. They tested the market and decided on Lavazza, a well known international coffee brand.

Liz likes to focus on heatlhy meals and cooks with fresh herbs and spices. All the food is freshly prepared and made on the premises. Organic ingredients and produce are used for the preparation of their juices.

The couple are also planning a second venue. Watch this space!

There is also a safe play area for kids’ entertainment whilst parents enjoy a delicious meal in tranquil surroundings.

Liz and Nic would like to thank the community for their constructive feedback, loyalty and support.

The Courtyard Café can be found at the Casterbridge Lifestyle Centre in White River. For more information, contact them telephonically on 082 453 9067, or like them on Facebook.
