Two attempted robbery suspects arrested: Caught in ceiling of Mbombela music studio

The complainant was coming back from buying food when he became suspicious that the lights in the studio were turned off.

Two suspects were arrested for an attempted business robbery in Mbombela on Friday, April 4.
A local musician, who was in a studio recording a song with his producer, decided to take a break and go buy food. When he returned, he realised the lights had been switched off.

He felt something hitting him in the face, he closed the door and ran out for help,” said a provincial police spokesperson, Brigadier Donald Mdhluli.
Some security guards assisted the musician and went to the studio with him. “They found the producer tied up and his mouth gagged with tape,” said Mdhluli.
