Riverview Prep hosts inter-school cricket day

Riverview Preparatory School held an inter-school cricket day this past Friday.

Teams from Malalane Primary, Penryn, Uplands and St. Peter’s participated. All the learners were encouraged to enjoy the match. The Riverview u/7 boys team won both their matches and the u/9 boys won and lost one.

Special mention should be made of Robbie Butcher and Brett Thomson from the u/7 team, who both played outstandingly.

“It was a fantastic afternoon of cricket and we were impressed with the sportsmanship and camaraderie among all the schools,” said Sean Barry.
