Young kickboxer back from Italy
The Barberton Lowveld Fight club kick-boxer, Jose Ehlers, has recently returned to South Africa.
The Barberton Lowveld Fight club kick-boxer, Jose Ehlers, has recently returned to South Africa.
A student of Gateway Christian School, this young man was privileged enough to attended the Junior Kick-boxing World Championship in Rimini, Italy after being selected for the South African team earlier this year.
According to Jose, the competition was of an extremely high standard with 54 countries and 1 960 fighters challenging each other.
Although he didn’t manage to bring home a medal, he faired very well and gained a wealth of experience.
