Riverview swimmers selected to take part at Mpumalanga Top-Schools Gala

A small, but big-hearted, contingent of eight Riverview swimmers, was selected to take part at the Mpumalanga Top-Schools Gala last Saturday at Curro.

Competing against the top swimmers from afar afield as Middelburg, the competition was stiff. The swimmers did Riverview proud, winning four medals.

Georgina Butcher completed the u/10 50m breaststroke and recieved a gold, and Jonathan Clark did the u/11 50m freestyle and obtained a bronze.

Luke Spear completed the u/8 25m freestyle and 25m breaststroke, and obtained bronze for both styles. The team was place 10th out of 26 schools.
