Cassy has found her forever home

Pienaar says despite Cassy's the hindrance to her paw, she runs perfectly and is quite speedy on three.

MBOMBELA – Cassy has suffered many hardships in life including a panga attack which left her crippled. However, the wheel turned this weekend and Cassy was finally adopted after several weeks at Pro-Life Pet Rescue.

According to Ms Gaylyn Pienaar of Pro-Life, where Cassy was kept, the Pro-Life Angels in Sabie rescued her and her seven puppies after they had been informed about the attack in the Sabie township.

“I am not exactly sure if the intention was to kill her or if it was to gave her a fright, but she was nonetheless hit on her foot,” Pienaar explained.

In the meanwhile all seven puppies have been adopted. This weekend it was Cassy’s turn. Ms Tarryn Veldsman took the dog under her wing and Cassy became the third one Veldsman adopted.

Pienaar says despite Cassy’s the hindrance to her paw, she runs perfectly and is quite speedy on three.

Veldsman recently posted a photo of Cassy and the two other Pro-Life “family members” and thanked Pro-Life for giving her the opportunity to gave these three “amazing souls”, as she describes them, a new home.
