Braai4Heritage photo competition

Readers entering the competition stand a chance to win a Totai portable-braai worth R300 sponsored by Glass King Hardware and a R500 meat voucher sponsored by Cheap Cheap Butchery

National Braai Day aims to position National Heritage Day as South Africa’s annual day of celebration where South Africans celebrate the diverse cultural heritage that makes up a rainbow nation.

Across race, region and religion we all share one common heritage called many things like Chisa Nyama, Braai and Ukosa. The ingredients may differ, but the one thing that never changes is that when we celebrate something, we light fires and prepare great feasts.

Steelburger/Lydenburg News encourages our readers to unite around fires and share their heritages. We are hosting a Braai4Heritage photo competition where readers get the opportunity to share their braai moment with us. Take a photo of your Braai4Heritage moment and share it on our Facebook Page (Steelburger/Lydenburg News), What’s App (083-643-0132) or via email (adverts@steelburgernews.co.za). Please include your contact details when submitting the photo via email.

Readers entering the competition stand a chance to win a Totai portable-braai worth R300 sponsored by Glass King Hardware and a R500 meat voucher sponsored by Cheap Cheap Butchery. The winner will also be featured in next Friday’s edition of Steelburger/Lydenburg News. Get creative, the most original photo will be chosen. The competition closes on September 29 at 12:00 and the winner will be contacted on the same day at 17:00.
