BREAKING NEWS: Man who killed Greg Anderson pleads guilty

He pleaded guilty to culpable homicide during his appearance in the White River Magistrate's Court yesterday.

WHITE RIVER – The man who was driving the car that hit and killed legendary cyclist, Greg Anderson near Hazyview last weekend, pleaded guilty to culpable homicide yesterday.

According to provincial police spokesman, Sgt Gerald Sedibe, Tshepo Mashego (28) was arrested on the scene and appeared in the White River Magistrate’s Court. “He will face 18 months imprisonment after which he was sentenced to 36 months, of which 18 months were suspended,” confirmed Sedibe.
