UPDATE: Community joins hands to clean White River’s streets

This followed after municipal workers turned the streets into a rubbish dump this morning.

The SAPS, in collaboration with various members of the community joined hands earlier, to clean the streets of White River.

This followed after municipal workers turned the streets into a rubbish dump this morning, in a demonstration for better wages. They caused havoc in by blocking the roads adjacent to the Municipality with litter.

According to DA councillor, Trudie Grove Morgan, who joined the clean-up, the road is passable despite some debris that remained.
