Staffie needs a new home
This Staffie is looking for a forever home after it was returned to the shelter after it was mistakenly identified

The Staffordshire bull terrier puppy mistakenly identified by a dog owner at the Pro-Life Pet Rescue, Rehabilitation and Adoption Agency is up for adoption again.
The puppy was found in Nelsville by the agency’s chairman, Ms Leigh-Anne Auerswald, who brought it to the centre.
A notice was put on social media for the owner to come forward and claim it.
A dog owner who had a similar-looking dog came forward to claim it as his.

“He noticed that his other dogs were not taking well to the dog,” said Gaylyn Pienaar, Pro-Life’s grounds manager.
“Also, his dog is a bit older with some grey around his mouth. He brought the dog back after his Staffie returned.
“This is the first time this has happened to us,” said Pienaar. The puppy has since been put up for adoption. It has been sterilised and all inoculations are up to date.

According to Pienaar, it takes up to seven days for a missing dog to be placed for adoption if they cannot be identified.
