The first kick in the right direction for young rugby players

The camp mainly focused on passing, running, handling skills, tackling, techniques and tag rugby.

Last week Puma Kidz presented a holiday rugby clinic for children between the ages of four to 13, at Nelspruit Rugby Club (NRC).

It was presented by former utility back of NRC, Morné Crous, and the club’s wing, Lloyd Malatji.

Children at these ages are like sponges, and have the amazing ability to absorb the life lessons learned through the Puma Kidz programme.

It is an extramural activity held in school hours at the school grounds for preschoolers, and in the afternoons for primary pupils.

“The main aim of the programme is to expose children to the game. We are excited for the 2018 season,” said Crous. Schools are requested to invite Puma Kidz to present the programme.
