White River SPCA hosts regular car boot sales to raise funds for the organisation’s work.
The previous event held recently was well attended and supported, although it coincided with the annual Interhigh Athletics event at Rob Ferreira High School. Several children made use of the opportunity to raise their own funds to help make dreams come true. Under the careful auspices of their parents, they learned about the value of money and how to work hard for what they want to achieve.
The next car boot sale will take place at the same venue (next to GumTreez at Casterbridge) on March 31 from 08:00 to 12:00. Stalls cost R100. Enquiries: Estelle de Villiers on 083-664-7505.
