Letter: More can be done for safety in Numbi Park
Why do speedsters expect one to move into the yellow line when they drive up close behind you?

“Think of us” writes:
The R40 with its heavy traffic and speeding poses a real hazard to everybody, in particular to residents of Numbi Park.
Why do some speedsters expect one to move into the yellow line when they drive up close behind you and flash lights? Why are police vans and even police cars full of passengers doing the same?
I would like to see the rules regarding this in writing in all our different languages so that every last one understands it. When will rumble strips to reduce speed be implemented before and after the Numbi Park turn-off?
There also should be huge signs indicating that people must slow down. It is a residential area and cars are moving in and out. When will something be done about it?
By the way, can someone please remove the sex worker from the road near White River? Her clients are causing traffic-flow problems and we don’t need to see her wares when she advertises.
