Support neighbouring community by running an extra mile

This event will raise funds for Jabez Preschool.

Local runners are invited to support the More Community Trust and Sabi Sand Pfunanani Trust by participating in its first trail run on May 19.

This event hopes to bring communities and conservation together to raise awareness of their community initiatives and funds for Jabez Preschool.

It will take place from the Digital Learning Campus at Huntington Village near Hazyview and commence at 08:00. The run goes through the communities of Huntington and Justicia, finishing on the soccer field adjacent to Hunt Digital Learning Campus and Hundzukani Primary School.

According to Michelle Scott, general manager of the More Community Trust, the day is going to be one to remember: “We have the sensational Warrior Ric as master of ceremonies at the event, some fabulous restaurants running food and beverage stalls and a beer tent at the end to keep the festivities going,”  she says.

“We would love all runners to join us on this momentous day, inviting all friends and neighbours to explore our beautiful communities with us.”

Entries for the run will be R500 per 21 km and R300 per 10 km.
