Angling excitement: 13 Teams, 30 bass
Thirty basses were caught, with a total weight of 16,29 kilograms.
The third tournament in this year’s Nabana Lodge Social Series (NLSS) fishing competition received 13 entries.
Despite a change of venue and date for the competition, the 13 teams descended on Klipkopje on Sunday July 22.
Fishing was not easy, but Team Bassanova did everything right to take top spot with five fish weighing 4,85 kilograms. They also won the Berkley PowerBait Big Bass prize, with a largemouth of 2,14 kilograms.

Five new teams entered the 2018 Team Points Championship that weekend, taking the total number of competing teams to 19.
Sikani finished fifth at Klipkopje and maintain their grip on first place, with a five-point lead over second-placed InVinceAble.
Only 15 points separate first from fifth places, and with three tournaments still to go, a lot of shuffling can still take place.
The fourth event in the series is on August 19. After that the last two events will take place on October 21 and November 18.
