Indoor cricket facility for Uplands and province

The indoor facility boasts three nets and two bowling machines.

Uplands College recently opened its indoor cricket facility.

It boasts three nets and two bowling machines, as well as room where workshops can be offered.

This facility will also be used in conjunction with Mpumalanga Cricket for provincial teams from schools and the community.

With an additional four cricket fields and new turf nets, the Uplands grounds should become the preferred hub for cricket in the Lowveld.

The provincial trials for teams from u/10 to u/19, set for end of August and beginning of September, will be of the first to make use of the indoor facility.

Craig Nel, president of Mpumalanga Cricket, attended the opening function and addressed guests and representatives of the school and managing board.
