Here are a few tips to separate the real vacancy advertisements from the fakes.
- If an advertisement for a job requires you to pay any amount of money in advance, it is probably a scam.
- Companies that correspond from free email addresses are likely fake.
- Be wary when you receive a job offer without having an interview either face-to-face or telephonic. Also be wary of job offers without a salary.
- Look out for job descriptions that are vague or sketchy. A real vacancy would stipulate all your duties and responsibilities.
- If you are offered a random job, without applying for anything, it is also likely to be fake.
