Hot-blooded stabbing leaves a brother dead and one arrested
A man is in police custody and facing a murder charge after he killed his brother in the early hours of Sunday morning at a house in Langeloop.
LANGELOOP – According to Const Zithulele Mhlongo, two siblings (both in their twenties) got into an argument early on Sunday morning that escalated into violence.
One started beating the other, who retaliated by stabbing him. This proved fatal, as the victim was taken to hospital where he was certified dead.

The perpetrator was arrested on a murder charge and is still in police custody. He will most likely appear in the Nkomazi Magistrate’s Court next week.
Police suspect that both parties were under the influence of alcohol.
Mhlongo stated that police are very concerned that a domestic dispute ended in murder.
He urged families to find a mediator to help them with disputes and not to turn to violence.
