Spa owner gets opportunity to be spoiled

Heather West is well known for the way she services and spoils her clients at the spa at the Sabi River Sun Resort in Hazyview.

Recently, however, it was her turn to be spoiled as she was whisked off to Russia, where she was awarded as regional winner for the best unique experience at a spa in Southern Africa.

Heather has been in the beauty industry for about 35 years and to her great surprise, her spa was nominated and eventually voted by guests from the resort into the World Luxury Spa Awards.

After being nominated for service excellence, a period followed where guests and clients could cast their votes for the month of March this year.

On April 8, Heather was contacted and told her spa had won an award. On July 6 she attended the awards event which was held in St Petersburg, Russia.

Heather afterwards expressed her thanks and appreciation to her very dedicated and loyal staff, without whom she said she could never have done it.

“To all my loyal clients that have supported me and the Lord for blessing me and my spa so abundantly, I say thank you!”
