Young bright spark demonstrates his inventiveness first-hand

Prince Magagula refers to himself as a young inventor, and hopes for a scholarship to better hone his abilities.

Currently Magagula collects all kinds of electric parts to be recycled into functioning toys and household goods. This week he walked into the offices of Corridor Gazette in Malalane to show his latest inventions.

One, an electric car made from an empty cooldrink bottle, and the other a table lamp that doubles as a torch. Magagula says he is a self-taught young man, but now needs some formal training.
