Tradition and togetherness await at Dros #TheGreatNelspruitPostPubCrawl

Be sure to turn up at the Dros Restaurant for #TheGreatNelspruitPost PubCrawl.

The Great Nelspruit Post Pub Crawl is edging ever closer and is a sure-fire hit with Mbombelans. The event promises great prizes and the opportunity to meet locals who enjoy getting together in the spirit of togetherness, which is a Lowveld tradition.

Hospitality in the region is about meeting people and celebrating the diversity in the city. Dros Restaurant offers an intimate atmosphere reminiscent of days gone by where getting together is a tradition taken quite seriously. The restaurant’s ambiance lends it a character of cosiness and the fare on the menu is hearty, down-to-earth food which is an attribute that draws Lowvelders from all walks of life to it.

The menu boasts a diverse range of food from steaks to pizza, seafood and, in tribute to neighbouring Mozambique, trinchado chicken and beef to accompany your drinks. Dros Restaurant is the ideal way to get away from the office and step into a different world where all are welcome.

It is easy to get lost while sampling the cuisine and enjoying a glass of your favourite brew. Locals are mad over the specials and one patron quipped, “The reason I enjoy eating and drinking here is mostly the warm atmosphere and to-die-for specials which fit my pocket.”

Children are also welcome to tuck into a specially designed kiddies’ menu with wholesome food to keep their bellies filled while mommies and daddies escape the daily grind.

Owner Rupert Hechter said, “We would like Mbombelans to come over and celebrate the new-look Dros Reastaurant with myself and Diana Hecther, who have taken over since February.”

He added that Dros is gaining a strong following and that The Great Nelspruit Post Pub Crawl on September 28 is the ideal vehicle for patrons to experience the establishment for themselves.
