White River Crossing offers a world-class shopping experience
On August 22 shopping in White River changed forever.
Among others, the recently opened centre sports a new-look Checkers, which on its own created about 100 new jobs. The state-of-the-art store offers a clutter-free experience, wider aisles, shelves designed with the shopper in mind and seamless floors that means trolleys make less noise when pushed through the store.
The store is managed by experienced branch manager, Willie Engelbrecht.
Shoppers can still look forward to a MediRite pharmacy and LiquorShop, with Medirite offering free health screenings to citizens aged 60 and older once a month. The check-ups include blood sugar, cholesterol, blood pressure and body mass index (BMI) tests.
The store’s trading hours are from 08:00 to 20:00 from Mondays to Fridays, 08:00 to 19:00 on Saturdays, and 08:00 to 18:00 on Sundays.
Added to that, a Woolworths Food and Dischem feature among the rest of the 30 stores, and the centre caters for most of anybody’s retail needs.
Residents already enjoy the new Big Bear Spur, and are seen shopping at the several clothing shops. Services rendered by Postnet, Kodak and Telkom are now conveniently closer.
