Best Kumon pupils awarded

The ceremony was a success, the food was amazing, and a family atmosphere was prevalent in the venue.

Kumon White River recently held its annual prize-giving function at the Rob Ferreira High School lapa.

The ceremony celebrated the achievements of the Kumon students during the 2019 academic year. Certificates and medals were awarded per level attained, namely Merit, SA Merit, KIS and ASHR respectively.

Top student, Siviwe Lushaba of White River Primary School scooped up the majority of the awards, having achieved ASHR-1 for both mathematics and English. Alex Rohm (home-schooled) achieved ASHR-1 for mathematics and KIS for English.

Instructor Anneliese le Roux expressed her appreciation to Rob Ferreira High School and Kumon South Africa for their continued support, as well as the parents for giving her the opportunity to work with their children and mould future professionals.
