Inter school athletics in Komati

Komatipoort Akademie is the proud hosts of this year’s inter school’s athletics for the greater Lowveld region.
Schools in and around the Lowveld and from as far as Steelpoort will be travelling to Komatipoort where their pupils will take part in the prestigious event that is taking place tomorrow.

Komati Akademie sport fields has had tremendous transformation in readying themselves to host over 150 officials from different schools as well as the pupils and parents alike. To host this event is a huge honor, and the school is putting their best foot forward.
The transformation has been no small feat. It has taken months of preparation and the generous donations and hard work of the community and parents to get the school’s premises to a standard the greater Komatipoort Community can be proud of.
The pavilion has been re-paved and extended, buildings have been re-painted, equipment refurbished and new signage has been put up. The bulk of these astronomical costs have been carried by this year’s main sponsor, Malalane Toyota with the transport of the paving blocks being done by Décor Transport.
Over and above the upgrades for the schools facilities, Malalane Toyota has also graciously sponsored the printing of the programs, the medals and trophies for the various athletic categories as well the official’s attire for the event which was supplied by MBM.
