Parts of Busamed Lowveld Private Hospital close due to corona scare

Busamed Lowveld Private Hospital will be closed to the public on Monday March 16. The hospital is limiting public access to the facility following information concerning a confirmed case of Covid-19.

“This is a precautionary measure to ensure that the correct protocol is implemented so that normal operations may continue, said Andre Oosthuizen, hospital manager.

“All persons who have been in close contact with the confirmed case have been notified and are currently in self-quarantine. The hospital is working closely with the NICD and Department of Health to ensure that all patient and visitor safety measures are in place. Further details will be communicated soon,” he said.

Oosthuizen can be contacted on 013 752 7576 or email at AndreO@Busamed.co.za.

Please note: Busamed Lowveld Private Hospital is still open to the public with the exception of parts of the second floor and the entire third floor which are closed due to the coronavirus scare.
Consulting rooms on the ground and second floors are still accessible to members of the public.
