With the Covid-19 restrictions on gatherings, there will no longer be a SONrise service at the cross on the Jesus Hill at Paardeplaats Nature Retreat on Easter Sunday.

According to Gerda Whitehorn, owner of the retreat and organiser of the event, it was cancelled after the announcement by the president on Monday night.

“We were planning to welcome any worshippers who wanted to pray at the cross during the Easter period. We had thought of small gatherings of friends or families, but we can’t do that.”
