Staying at home while practicing self-isolation does not mean you should not take care of yourself. Take time and work on your inner and outer self.
The owner of Beauty Bar in Lydenburg, Nazmeera Abdullah, beauty therapist and professional makeup artist said, “Getting your workouts at least three times a week, drinking two litres of water daily and cooking are important, however you should also consider taking care of yourself,” she said.

According to Abdullah there are various tips that she would want women in Lydenburg to try in the comfort of their own house. She swears by these three beauty tips that will change your face, hands, skin and hair.

1. Remember to take care of your tired hands.You need one tablespoon of tomato juice, lemon juice and glycerin.
Mix together and apply on your hands. Massage for ten minutes then rinse off with cold water. This can be done daily. It helps to soften hands.

2. Use natural face masks every two to three days.All you need is two tablespoon of lemon juice and plain yoghurt. This helps restore and hydrate tired, dull skin.

3. Deep condition your hair.These simple steps are good for strengthening and moisturising your hair.You will need two tablespoons of plain yoghurt, one tablespoon of honey, one tablespoon of olive oil and one tablespoon of lemon juice.
Mix the above and apply to hair, leave for 20 minutes and wash off.

She also added that deep cleaning and decluttering your living space will make a difference to how you feel.
