Parkrun will return on another level Mashishing parkrun is among various sports activities that had to be stopped
due to lockdown. Parkrun was a free, five-kilometre event that was open to everyone.

Johan Munnik, one of the volunteers, said as much as it was sad that the parkrun could not continue as normal, they believe it was for a good cause.

“We miss the atmosphere and gathering during parkrun as friends and family, although we understand why we
cannot meet for now. All we have to do is exercise at home or jog in the morning. We look forward to the day they will announce that we can meet again,” he said.

Munnik added that it could worsen if one of them transmits Covid-19 to
others.

now, all the events are cancelled until the lockdown is moved to another level.
