Public asked to help locate missing woman
The public was urged to help the police locate Agreement Tumelo Molapo (23) of Nkaning, Bushbuckridge, who had gone missing on Monday February 22.
According to Brig Leonard Hlathi, spokesperson for the provincial police, reports received indicated that Molapo was at Bushbuckridge Shopping Complex running some errands with her aunt on the day of her disappearance.
She then informed her aunt that she was going to see a friend who had reportedly called her and requested that they meet. Molapo was never seen since. The matter was brought to the attention of the police who opened a missing person’s file.
Molapo’s friend, who is said to have made arrangements earlier to meet up with her, also denied having seen her or knowing anything concerning her whereabouts.
It is further reported that Molapo was wearing blue jeans, a blue T-shirt and sandals the day she disappeared.
