A good week for Laerskool Malelane cricket
The boys of Laerskool Malelane had an incredible week of cricket when they played friendlies against Uplands College and Laerskool Nelspruit.
Malelane’s u/9s, u/11s and first team conquered the week with extreme results.
The u/9 cricket team won by nine wickets when they played against Uplands u/9B on September 6. Lam Qwabe made 15 runs and André de Kock got one wicket for five runs for the day.

The u/11 cricket team faced Uplands u/11B on September 2 and were victorious by seven wickets. Kesha Moore handled the bat well as he made 47 runs that day and as a bowler took three wickets. The u/11 team had a second game against Laerskool Nelspruit’s u/11B on September 7 and won by five wickets. Kesha Moore made 36 runs and took two wickets for seven runs in the game.

The first team enjoyed their friendly match against the Uplands u/13B team on September 7 and walked off the field with a smile as they won with seven wickets. Ruan Fouché took five wickets for zero runs and De Villiers Dory made 29 runs for his team.
These outstanding results motivated the teams to be ready for their next few games.
