Enduro racers hold nothing back
The second round of the Lowveld Enduro Club Race was held at Potato Seed Production on Long Tom Pass on Saturday April 2.
A total of 276 of enduro motorbike race enthusiasts were supported by the spectators and their maintenance teams.
The downhills and mountainous terrain of the pass created a lot of technical difficulty for the competitors.
The winner in the pro elite class was Ryan Pelser, second was Robert Garvie and third, Kevin Leigh. In the pro B class Gabriël du Toit had the best time, with Michael Scriven second and Kyle Gibson third. The best club senior rider was Mike Josten, Jamie Watt was second and Mark Galliers had the third-best time.

In the masters class, the winner was Kevin Peters, second Dennis Murphy and third Alex Vowels.
The Lowveld Enduro Club offers young participants the opportunity to train with some of the top riders, to help them improve their skills and training for races.
The first event of the year was held at Forever Badplaas and the next one on the diary is Saturday June 4 in Hazyview. A total of nine races are held throughout the year.
