A person was killed in an accident involving a truck and a sedan on the N4 between the Karino interchange and Valencia link this morning, January 29.

The truck was travelling from Mbombela and the sedan travelling towards Mbombela when the driver of the sedan lost control and collided head-on with the truck.

The recovery of the crash is underway.

According to TRACN4, the Mbombela westbound lane is partially closed with a contraflow system in place.
