A section of the N4 was closed for the recovery and motorists were directed to alternative routes.

A person was killed in a crash involving a minibus and sedan on the N4 between the KaNyamazane and Mara intersections today, March 17.

The Mpumalanga Medical Emergency Services transported the injured occupants to a hospital. The number of injured persons has not yet been released.

Traffic was diverted to alternative routes during the recovery of the scene as the section of the N4 was closed.

The road has been reopened.
