This monthly car boot sale helps to raise funds for the organisation. It is desperately in need of another vehicle.

The SPCA White River held its monthly car boot sale at the Casterbridge Lifestyle Centre on Saturday April 6. Many of its regular stallholders and supporters came out to aid the organisation in its fundraising efforts.

This event also gave locals the chance to not only help out the SPCA, but also to get rid of some white elephants in their homes. Other stalls showcased locally crafted items such as handbags and wire sculptures, to name a few.

SPCA White River’s treasurer, Estelle de Villiers, said there was a fairly good turnout for the day, even with the threat of thundershowers. They managed to raise R1 000.
