Hospice White River relocates shop

The Hospice White River is hopeful that the relocation and refurbishment of their shop will increase profits.

Hospice White River has recently relocated its shop.

The relocation was celebrated at the new premises, 4 Joe Hanna Street, opposite the post office, with a cheese and wine event attended by supporters and donors.

The driving force behind the relocation and refurbishment was Jeff Howard, a board member of Hospice White River. With 40 years of experience in the retail trade, Howard’s expertise is evident in the fresh new look and user-friendly layout of the shop.

“We are confident that the move marks the beginning of a new chapter for the hospice in terms of our fundraising efforts,” said the chairperson, Kevin Greenwood.

Shop manager Helena Koster expressed her anticipation of welcoming customers to the new location.

As the hospice relies solely on donations and community support, the sales from the shop play a crucial role in fundraising.
