Numbi Primary School triumphs at eisteddfod
Numbi Primary’s learners returned victorious from the most recent eisteddfod in Mbombela. They all received excellent marks for their performances.
Numbi Primary came back victorious from the most recent eisteddfod held at the Communio Church in Mbombela on July 26 and 27.
Seven Numbi learners won certificates for undramatised poetry, making not only the school, but the entire Hazyview community proud. They surpassed their educators’ expectations.

The school management congratulated the winners, saying they were not only representing themselves, but the whole school. “Their dedication and commitment have paid off, and this will also encourage other learners to enter next year. As a school, we are very proud of them. We also would like to thank the educators for training these learners and their parents for the support they gave them,” the school said.

Minenhle Dube got a B+ and Thomas Erasmus had an A. Bonolo Mathebula and Andzani Ngomane scooped A+’s, and Joané Kotzé, Micheala Babani and Emihle Mhaule all A++.
