Lowveld jazz talent ready to present a magical night of music

Talented trumpeter Stix Dumisa is back with the fourth instalment of the Jazz Festival that will showcase vast local talent.

The fourth Jazz Festival, hosted by Mpumalanga’s renowned Stix Dumisa, brings together local jazz musicians for a night of live entertainment at the Mbombela Civic Centre on August 24.

Dumisa said this annual event promises to be a magical evening of soulful jazz that will electrify the atmosphere, creating unforgettable moments with the star guests, 16 Horns Big Band. Many performers are expected to grace the stage, such as Reshen Nkala, Selby Mhlongo, Gugu Mndebele, Bra Bush, Wanda Zonke, Sbusiso Mac, Soul Ngwane, Endle, Nomhle and Dumisa himself.

“We are looking forward to giving the community of Mpumalanga music that tells stories and to keep nurturing the culture of jazz. I urge music lovers to not miss this event and to get their tickets for a mesmerising night,” he said.
