Firefighters tend to blaze at Kruger Gate Hotel

The Kruger National Park’s spokesperson, Isaac Phaahla, confirmed that they are aware of the fire at the Kruger Gate Hotel and firefighters are tending to it.

He also said the cause of the fire is currently unknown. He also said even though the blaze is outside the park, they will monitor the situation to ensure it does not spread. “I cannot comment on how it started, except that there are allegations it was caused by a vehicle accident as reported on social media,” he said.
He also warned motorists travelling in that area to drive with caution.
