Truck overturns in Kruger National Park

The driver was alone in the truck; he only sustained minor injuries.

A truck overturned on the H1-2 near Crocodile River in the Kruger National Park on Thursday, November 28.

The Kruger’s spokesperson, Isaac Phaahla, confirmed that the driver had sustained minor injuries, and that he was alone in the truck when the incident occurred. “We do not have many details about the truck, but we believe it was in the park for delivery purposes,” he said.

Phaahla said the cause of the accident is unknown at this stage, and no animals were injured.

The driver was treated on the scene before he was released. The truck recovery is still under way.

Phaahla further advised motorists to always adhere to the rules of the road within the park.
