Some roads in Kruger National Park closed due to heavy rains

Due to the ongoing rains in the KNP, motorists are advised to drive with caution.

Some roads and bridges in the Kruger National Park have been closed due to heavy rains, and some bridges are reported to be overflowing on Saturday, January 11.

All gravel roads in the Satara Camp area are closed.

Dirt roads in the Kingfisher Ranger Station area at Orpen, including the S82, S128, S30 and S122, washed away between De La Port and Skukuza Bridge.

The low-water bridge over the Sand River at Skukuza is closed due to overflowing. The Skukuza Airport is only accessible via Shalati Lodge Bridge.
