Lowveld model bags Mrs Universe South Africa crown

Candice Williams was crowned as Mrs Universe South Africa last night, March 22.

A Lowvelder, model and philanthropist, Candice Williams, was crowned Mrs Universe South Africa 2025.

The crowning took place in Sandton on Saturday, March 22.

Williams is the former Mrs Mpumalanga Lowveld 2023. She is also the co-founder of the Rehab Beauty Foundation, a brand ambassador, a wife and a mum.

She will be representing the country in the 48th Mrs Universe in the Philippines from October 1 to 9.

Proud Lowvelders have flooded social media with congratulatory messages.

“Candice, you did it once again. From Mrs Mpumalanga to Mrs Universe South Africa, what a great achievement? As a province, we are extremely proud. Our bet was that I will design your national dress for competing in the Philippines in October should you win. I guess I must start designing,” said the owner and managing director of Mrs Mpumalanga, Jacques Lombard.

Williams’ title is followed by the first runner-up, Charne Cronje, and the second runner-up, Alyssa Barberis.
