Joel Mamba and Monica Zwane appeared in the Nelspruit Magistrate’s Court on June 18 for their bail application and were granted R5 000 each. Their next court appearance is scheduled for July 24.

The two were arrested for allegedly transporting more than a 100 bags of dagga in a Toyota Corolla, while being escorted by three White River Flying Squad cops on the N4 near the Matsulu T-junction. They are facing separate charges of dealing in dagga and may face additional charges as the investigation continues.
