UPDATE: Court appearance of man arrested for illegal possession of ammunition postponed

The 64-year-old man who was arrested yesterday, July, 10 for the illegal possession of ammunition and other related items on a farm near Barberton, will appear in the Barberton Magistrate’s Court on Monday, July 14. He has fallen ill and is currently in hospital.

Lieutenant Colonel Jabu Ndubane, Mpumalanga’s police spokesperson, confirmed that if he is fit enough, he will have his first appearance in court on the new scheduled date.
