14-year-old KaNyamazane boy missing

The SAPS is appealing to the public for assistance in locating a 14-year-old boy who went missing on August 19.

The KaNyamazane SAPS is appealing to the public for assistance in locating the 14-year-old, Blessing Quinton Nkosi, who went missing on Tuesday, August 19.

The young resident of Ext 19 was last seen at about 06:30 on the day of his disappearance, reportedly while he was on his way to school.

The Mpumalanga police spokesperson, Lieutenant Colonel Jabu Ndubane, said the family is concerned about Blessing’s whereabouts, adding that preliminary investigations suggest that he did not go to school on the day of his disappearance.

According to his teacher, the last time Blessing was seen at school was on Thursday, August 14. Ndubane added that at the time of his disappearance, Blessing was wearing his full school uniform, consisting of grey pants, a blue shirt with a dark pullover, grey socks and black shoes.

“If you have any information that could help locate Blessing, please contact Constable Nthabiseng Nyathi on 072 974 1031 or the Crime Stop number on 08600 10111. Alternatively, information can be submitted via the My SAPS app,” she added.

Ndubane said all information will be treated with confidentiality, and callers may option to remain anonymous.
